Rovio and LucasArts continue to get their fans involved with the game itself. If Angry Birds Star Wars is like any other Angry Birds mobile game, then it will be a big hit like its predecessors. Rovio has really lucked out with the timing of Angry Birds Star Wars, which was most likely engineered by the ad wizards at Disney and LucasArts. It looks like Rovio has done a good job incorporating lightsabers, the Force, settings and planets, and other elements from Star Wars into their Angry Birds mobile game. The mobile game itself features all your favorite Star Wars characters as Angry Birds, including Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Princess Leia, and Obi-Wan Kenobi. As you pass around it aim her tractor beam back at the top left metal boulder, pulling it down into the structure below. The animation in the cinematic trailer feels like a Saturday-morning cartoon more than anything else, which probably won’t appeal to older fans of the Star Wars saga. Set includes 4 figures, 2 blocks, 1 Lightsaber launcher and instructions. What a difference a week makes! The animated short film is the first time we’ve seen the Angry Birds (non-pixel) animated, and it also teases the potential for a full-length animated movie. The mobile game itself features all your favorite Star Wars characters as Angry Birds, including Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Princess Leia, and Obi-Wan Kenobi.
